Baked to a golden brown, soft and moist yet not wet, and is very fragrant without the overpowering banana smell like in some banana cakes. Well balanced in texture and taste.

Ambrosia Delights really impressed me with their bakes. The brioche (bun) was soft, fluffy and nicely buttery, while the banana cake was moist, fragrant and full of real banana flavour. The pineapple tarts had a melt‑in‑the‑mouth pastry with a well‑balanced, tangy‑sweet filling. Overall, a delightful experience that I’d happily recommend to others.

The banana loaf, the brownies, the sugee cookies and the pineapple tarts were all perfectly turned out, very fresh and delicious. Brought back my childhood memories of the 50s and 60s of devouring exclusive English and Dutch culture bakery and confectionery in Srilanka.
